I swear, I try to tell Colt (and all of you) that I’m responsible with my money and then I go and blow it all on things I really don’t need. I need one thing for sure, and that’s a reality check. So I decided I’d share with you guys some of the things I bought this last month and maybe start to realize I have a problem…
…or maybe I’ll help you realize you need to buy these things too!
Guys. I bought one and then as soon as it came in, I bought two more for Colt and I to have on our bedsides. These things are so addicting. I start playing with it and next thing I know, two hours have passed! I have pretty sharp nails and have managed to poke holes in both of mine, but I can promise you that if you don’t wear acrylics, they’ll last. Colt’s is still going strong!
I hadn’t bought myself jeans in over a year, so I thought I owed it to myself to get at least one new pair, and these didn’t disappoint! They’re so comfortable and stretchy. I’m 5’6″ and got them in a size 2L so they were long enough to roll at the ends without being too short. I fight the urge to buy five more pairs every day!
I’m not one to talk about underwear online… seems a little weird… but these are super comfortable and they even give me a little curve when I pull them up over my hips. I bought both the Heather Frost and Dark Heather Gray colors and love them!
I’ve never really liked wearing thongs unless I had to, but I’m so happy I bought these because it’s like they’re barely there! I got the color Smoked Gray, which is actually a really cute black cheetah print.
I found this beauty at Walmart (yes, WALMART) and couldn’t resist. It’s a tote shape, so I can see all that’s in it without digging, and it’s the perfect size for every day use! It looks way more expensive than it is, too. It’s perfect for someone like me who ends up ruining purses quickly.
Colt says I have too many shoes, but I swear I only wear the same two pairs because I tend to buy outfits without matching shoes, or shoes without matching outfits. I got tired of never having shoes, so I got these white beauties that go with just about anything in my closet. They’re super comfortable, and clean up easily (I stepped in muddy/slushy snow the first day out!).
I decided to start stepping up my photography game, but I didn’t want to carry my camera with me everywhere I went, so I finally invested in a new camera strap. I fell in love with this one and couldn’t resist. Only bad news was that it won’t clip onto my camera because of the angle of the hooks. I’m working on a solution. Maybe putting keychain loops on the camera then connecting the strap to that? I have the Canon Rebel t6i for reference!
If you haven’t seen the Podcast tab on the site or haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, maybe this will be the one hint you get… I bought two of these mics since I’m not doing this alone, and I have to say that they have great quality! I was debating between these and a Blue Yeti, and I’m so glad I chose these instead!
One thing about every pair of jeans I own is that they never fit somewhere. It’s either the length or the waist that just doesn’t seem right. I always choose length over waist because, well, that only makes sense. So when I found out about these buttons, it was game over. I love the heck out of these and they help my jeans flatter my body shape so much! I always carry one in my purse in case my waistband stretches throughout the day and I need to tighten it up instead of wearing a belt.
Yes, I did it. I bought the lip gloss that everyone and their mothers are talking about. And I’m so glad I did. It tastes like a nice day on the beach (minus the sand), and really does make my lips look so much fuller. A fun little surprise was when I thought I only got one, but they sent me a pack of two! I got the shade Stone.
